    Abstract: A protective circuit for an electronic device that is located between a constant voltage source (Uv) and the operating voltage input of the device (G) and consists of a diode (DV) and a limiting resistor (Rv) connected in series. The diode (Dv) and the limiting resistor (Rv) are thereby bridged by a controlled switch (S) and a voltage monitor (W) is connected to an operating voltage (UB, UA) of the device (G), said voltage monitor being devised to deliver a switch signal (s) that closes the switch as soon as a predeterminable minimum value of the operating voltage (UB) has been reached.
