  • Publication number: 20190364003
Abstract: Techniques of relevant content surfacing in a computer productivity platform are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, at an email server of the computer productivity platform, an email having a message body containing content and determining whether the content of the email contains a request to or a commitment by the user. In response to determining that the content of the email contains a request to or a commitment, inserting metadata containing one or more properties of the request or commitment into the email, the metadata. Then, when viewing of the content of the email by the user is detected, the computer productivity platform is queried for additional content using the properties of the request or commitment as keywords. The additional content is then surfaced to the user as being related to the content in the message body of the email.

  • Patent number: 10487613
Abstract: A method includes providing a retrievable plug assembly at a surface of an oil or gas well, the plug assembly having a seal element that has an original outer diameter. The method also includes stretching the seal element so that the outer diameter is less than the original outer diameter and then placing the plug assembly between first and second zones formed within the tubing string. The method also includes removing any tensile axial load on the seal element so that it shrinks back towards its original outer diameter while positioned between the first and second zones. The method also includes compressing the seal element so that the seal element sealingly engages an inner surface of the tubing string to isolate the first zone from the second zone.

  • Publication number: 20190341181
Abstract: An integrated magnetic device has a magnetic core which includes layers of the magnetic material located in a trench in a dielectric layer. The magnetic material layers are flat and parallel to a bottom of the trench, and do not extend upward along sides of the trench. The integrated magnetic device is formed by forming layers of the magnetic material over the dielectric layer and extending into the trench. A protective layer is formed over the magnetic material layers. The magnetic material layers are removed from over the dielectric layer, leaving the magnetic material layers and a portion of the protective layer in the trench. The magnetic material layers along sides of the trench are subsequently removed. The magnetic material layers along the bottom of the trench provide the magnetic core.

  • Patent number: 10371628
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for measuring spectral hemispherical reflectance. One embodiment is a system that includes a laser that emits a beam of light, and an optical chopper disposed between the laser and a sample. The chopper blocks the beam while the chopper is at a first angle of rotation, redirects the beam along a reference path while the chopper is at a second angle of rotation, and permits the beam to follow a sample path through the chopper and strike the sample while the chopper is at a third angle of rotation. The system also includes a hollow sphere that defines a slot through which the sample path and reference path enter the sphere. The hollow sphere includes a spectral hemispherical reflectance detector, a mount that receives the sample at the sphere, and an actuator that rotates the sphere about an axis that intersects the sample.

  • Publication number: 20190211997
Abstract: Devices described in the present disclosure can include a lighting device with adjustable uplight bars. In one embodiment, the adjustable uplight bars can comprise a plurality of light sources configured to display emitted light upwards and can be connected to an arm by an elbow joint, such that the adjustable uplight bars can rotate. In another embodiment, the adjustable uplight bars can comprise a plurality of optic caps placed over the plurality of light sources to produce a desired beam spread pattern for the emitted light. Therefore, each uplight bar can be individually customized to accommodate different positions of the lighting device in relation to the ceiling. In yet another embodiment, the adjustable uplight bars can be configured to project an image onto a surface such as a ceiling, allowing graphics to be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20190063179
Abstract: A first slip key is integral with an inner surface of a cage. A first travel stop is integral with the slip key. A first cone has a truncated head, a first shallow axial slot in the truncated head, and a first deep axial slot in the truncated head. The first deep axial slot is axially spaced from the first shallow axial slot. The first cone is insertable into the first end of the cage when the first deep axial slot is aligned with the first travel stop. The travel stop prevents the first cone from being extracted from the cage once the first cone is inserted into the first end of the cage and rotated relative to the cage about the longitudinal axis until the first travel stop is aligned with the first shallow axial slot.

  • Patent number: 10155606
Abstract: A container configured to be stacked adjacent to a second container is provided. The container includes a sidewall having a first end, an end wall having a peripheral edge, a seam coupling the peripheral edge of the end wall to the first end of the sidewall, and an alignment feature coupled to the seam. The alignment feature includes an inner surface. The alignment feature is positioned relative to the seam such that, when the container is stacked adjacent to the second container, the inner surface of the alignment feature contacts an outer surface of a seam of the second container, the contact resisting lateral movement of the container relative to the second container.

  • Patent number: 10145363
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for performing up-tower maintenance on a gearbox bearing of a wind turbine. In particular, a method for performing up-tower maintenance on a gearbox of a wind turbine is disclosed. The gearbox has at least one bearing with an outer race and an inner race that rotates with respect to the outer race. The method includes forming a through-hole in a front cover of the gearbox, the front cover being stationary with respect to an axis of rotation of the bearing. The method also includes forming a recess in the outer race of the bearing. Further, the method includes inserting a connecting member through the through-hole and the recess so as to prevent movement of the outer race of the bearing with respect to a torque arm of the gearbox.

  • Publication number: 20180245974
Abstract: Methods for replacing conventional light fixtures with solid state light fixtures are disclosed that can comprise selecting a replacement area comprising a plurality of conventional lamps. A sample of the plurality of conventional lamps in the replacement area is selected. The emission characteristics for each of the sample plurality of conventional lamps is measured. The conventional lamp emission characteristics are matched to emission characteristics of replacement LED lamps. All of the conventional lamps within said light replacement area are replaced with the replacement LED lamps. The emission characteristics of the LED replacement lamps at each of said locations of the sample plurality of conventional lamps are measured. The sample conventional lamp emission characteristics are compared to the LED replacement lamp characteristics to confirm that they are the same or are within an acceptable deviation.

  • Patent number: 10017851
Abstract: A method of magnetic forming an integrated fluxgate sensor includes providing a patterned magnetic core on a first nonmagnetic metal or metal alloy layer on a dielectric layer over a first metal layer that is on or in an interlevel dielectric layer (ILD) which is on a substrate. A second nonmagnetic metal or metal alloy layer is deposited including over and on sidewalls of the magnetic core. The second nonmagnetic metal or metal alloy layer is patterned, where after patterning the second nonmagnetic metal or metal alloy layer together with the first nonmagnetic metal or metal alloy layer encapsulates the magnetic core to form an encapsulated magnetic core. After patterning, the encapsulated magnetic core is magnetic field annealed using an applied magnetic field having a magnetic field strength of at least 0.1 T at a temperature of at least 150° C.
