  • Publication number: 20240081013
Abstract: A linear guide system having a first rail element, a second rail element, and a third element. The first rail element and the second rail element are borne such that the first rail element and the second rail element are linearly displaceable in relation to one another in and counter to an extraction direction, and the third element and the first rail element as well as the third element and the second rail element are borne together such that the third element and the first rail element as well as the third element and the second rail element are linearly displaceable in relation to one another in and counter to the extraction direction. The linear guide system in this case additionally includes an electrical conductor.

  • Patent number: 5832446
Abstract: The present invention features a computerized, electronic cooking encyclopedia running on Sun SPARC stations. The computerized system and method provide a search tool for accessing information about a worldwide variety of foods and beverages. The program of the invention allows for searching recipes by culture, menu category, preparation method and ingredients. Information is provided about the degree of complexity, necessary equipment, cooking tips, any caveats proffered and restaurants that actually serve a given dish (along with their menus). The software includes accessing an extensive database having color illustrations. When a CD ROM video or audio library is accessed, animation and/or audio viewing and listening are made possible.

  • Patent number: 5119223
Abstract: In a bidirectional light waveguide telecommunication system having a passive light waveguide bus network extending between a switching center and a plurality of subscriber locations, only the switching center is designed for a normal bidirectional wavelength division multiplex operation and is provided for this purpose with an electro-optical transmission element, an opto-electrical receiving element and an optical filter, whereas only a combined opto-electrical receiving/electro-optical transmitting module that respectively works only in the time separation mode and is designed for emitting light having a wavelength for reception by the opto-electrical receiving element of the switching center is provided in the subscriber locations.
