Abstract: A method for procuring and tracking evidence of insurance, the method under control of one or more computer systems configured with executable instructions, includes a processor which operates to receive an evidence of insurance request from a user corresponding to a specific collateralized property, said request comprising information corresponding to the specific collateralized property; generate and assign a permanent unique code for the collateralized property corresponding to insurance information for the collateralized property; create a profile of insurance information on a first database corresponding to the collateralized property; access insurance information related to the collateralized property on a second database to obtain insurance information corresponding to the collateralized property; confirm the existence of insurance for the collateralized property; and generate an electronic evidence of insurance document.
