  • Patent number: 10548196
Abstract: The invention relates a system for determining a change in a room (1). The invention comprises in particular a self-teaching illuminating system which detects a presence of an individual in an illuminated area. The system comprises lighting means (2) which output light, control means (3) which control the luminous output from the lighting means (2), measuring means (4) which determine a luminous intensity, and an evaluation means (6) which evaluates the luminous intensity determined by the measuring means (4). The evaluation means (6) is designed to detect a change of an object/individual in the room (1), starting from a determined luminous intensity at at least one first time, at which the lighting means (2) outputs no light, and a luminous intensity at at least one second time, at which the lighting means (2) outputs light.

  • Patent number: 10404158
Abstract: A PFC module is disclosed and contains an actively clocked PFC circuit (104) comprising at least one controlled switch (S1), and an integrated circuit (103) as a control unit which controls during a half-wave of the input voltage(Vin)of the actively clocked PFC circuit (104) the at least one switch(S1) of the actively clocked PFC circuit (104) with a fixed operating frequency in discontinuous current mode(DCM) The integrated circuit (103) sets the switch-on time (ton) of the at least, one switch (S1)dependent on the amplitude of the input voltage (VIN) of the actively clocked. PFC circuit (104), and keeps constant the switch-on time (ton) for at least two consecutive switching cycles within the half-wave of the input voltage (VIN), Also disclosed are a system containing the PFC module and a method for operating the PFC module.

  • Patent number: 9814113
Abstract: A voltage converter is proposed, for providing a DC voltage (Vout) for operating at least one LED strip (1), wherein the converter is configured to: a) output a DC voltage increasing or decreasing at least once, preferably in a voltage range lying above the flux voltage of the LED strip (1) while measuring the LED current (iL), and b) set the operating point of the DC voltage (Vout) as a function of this measurement.

  • Patent number: 9544970
Abstract: The invention relates to an LED module (1), comprising: connections (2) for an LED array (3); a circuit (4) which is configured to constitute a load, preferably an effective power load, if during a starting phase a constant current or a constant voltage is applied to the LED module (1), and which is configured not to constitute a load when the starting phase has finished, wherein the circuit (4) is designed to constitute a variable-current load which effects a change in the power consumption of the LED module (1) according to at least one predetermined protocol effected.
