Publication number: 20230366020Abstract: Described herein is a system and process for long read sequencing using PCR primers with incorporated Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMIs) for generating a single molecule consensus for each starting molecule in the sample population. This method reduces the sequencing error rate by generating a consensus from the individual reads in each UMI group, averaging out sequencing errors to give better confidence in the actual sequence, to allow for increased accuracy of quantifying the precise knock-in event, and reporting perfect HDR integration.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2023Publication date: November 16, 2023Inventors: Mollie Schubert, Thomas Osborne, Matthew McNeill, Garrett Rettig

Patent number: 10441256Abstract: Among other things, there are disclosed apparatuses and methods for medically sealing an opening in a vessel or wall. For example, in medical applications, a delivery tube is provided for insertion through a sheath into a vessel (e.g. a blood vessel). A dome-shaped seal fixed to a filament, an absorbent and/or compressible buffer, and a locking member are provided in the delivery tube. The delivery tube is configured so that it can be inserted into the vessel through a sheath. Tension is maintained on the filament to hold the seal against the tube or sheath. The sheath is pulled out, which pulls out the tube at the same time, leaving the seal over the opening in the vessel wall. The locking member compresses the buffer against the outside of the vessel and with the filament holds the seal in place against the inside of a vessel.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2016Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignees: Cook Medical Technologies LLC, Cook Biotech IncorporatedInventors: Ram H. Patent number: 9619467Abstract: A dynamic classification dictionary is built for use in profiling and targeting users for additional relevant content. Behavioral data is gathered from user activity, and user documents and actions are categorized. Author-generated document classification information is analyzed and assigned a first taxonomic noun to characterize the document. User-generated tags characterizing a portion of the document are assigned a second taxonomic noun. Search terms that resulted in the user accessing the document are identified and assigned a third taxonomic noun. Attributes related to the manner in which the document was accessed are evaluated and assigned a fourth taxonomic noun. The document is processed using pattern rules to extract a fifth taxonomic noun. The taxonomic nouns are aggregated into a composite set of taxonomic nouns, and the dynamic classification dictionary is built by storing the composite set of taxonomic nouns.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2012Date of Patent: April 11, 2017Assignee: CBS INTERACTIVE INC.Inventors: Tushar Pradhan, Thomas Osborne, John Potter
