  • Publication number: 20080099662
Abstract: A method for adjusting an object detection apparatus is disclosed and which includes the steps of providing an image intensifier tube having an electroluminescent screen, and which produces a screen current output when the image intensifier tube processes electromagnetic radiation; measuring the screen current output produced by the electroluminescent screen; providing an emitter of electromagnetic radiation which is electrically coupled with a source of electricity, and which, when periodically energized, produces an electromagnetic radiation output; and adjusting the period of time which the emitter of electromagnetic radiation is energized based upon the screen current output which is measured at the electroluminescent screen.

  • Publication number: 20080024864
Abstract: A signaling assembly is described and which includes a semitransparent mirror formed of a glass substrate formed of neodymium oxide doped glass and which absorbs, at least in part, a predetermined band of yellow light, and which further defines a region through which visible light may pass; and an emitter of visible light is positioned adjacent to the semitransparent mirror and which, when energized, emits visible light which passes through the region of the semitransparent mirror which passes visible light to form a visibly discernible signal.

  • Patent number: 7192172
Abstract: A visual warning device is disclosed and which includes an emitter of visibly discernible light positioned in spaced relation relative to an underlying supporting surface, and which, when energized, emits visibly discernible light which is projected onto the underlying supporting surface to identify a restricted region which is positioned in spaced relation relative to the emitter.
