  • Patent number: 9925658
Abstract: A magnet sandwiching storage tray for retaining a plurality of articles, especially tools formed from a ferrous metal. The magnet sandwiching storage tray has a top tray member, a bottom tray member, and a plurality of magnets positioned therebetween. The top and bottom tray members each have a plurality of channels formed therein. Each of the plurality of channels, formed in the top tray member, is sized to temporarily retaining an article, such as a wrench, a socket, or some other tool. The plurality of magnets is positioned within the channels of the bottom tray member and is retained therein by the interior of the top tray member. The magnets exert a sufficient force through the top tray member to attract and temporarily retain the articles in the channels formed in the top tray member. The bottom tray member is secured to the underside of the top tray member so that the plurality of magnets is retained therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20160365184
Abstract: A magnetic storage device is disclosed which is capable of retaining at least one article having a magnetic affinity. The magnetic storage device includes a magnet, a base having a channel formed therein which is sized and configured to retain the magnet, and a tray. The tray has a front face with a first opening and a second opening formed therein. The tray engages the base and is held secure thereto with the magnet sandwiched in between. The first opening is semi-cylindrical in configuration and overlies the magnet. The second opening is cylindrical in configuration and is aligned perpendicular to the first opening. The second opening has a bottom wall. The magnet exerts a sufficient magnetic attraction on an article when the article is positioned into one of the first or second openings to temporarily retain the article in the magnetic storage device.

  • Patent number: 8256618
Abstract: A magnetic storage device is disclosed which is capable of retaining a plurality of articles, each having a thickness and a magnetic affinity. The storage device includes a base having a cavity which houses a magnetic member and a tray which mates with the base to enclose the magnetic member. The tray has a plurality of cavities formed in an upper surface and each of the cavities is designed to retain one of the articles. Each of the cavities has an elongated, semi-circular configuration with opposite ends located adjacent to a pair of raised abutments. The pair of raised abutments extends to a height less than the thickness of each article. The storage device also includes a cover which can be secured to the tray to enclose the plurality of articles therein. A method of assembling the magnetic storage device is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7926658
Abstract: A blister package and a method of forming and filling the blister package are disclosed. The blister package includes a first member having a three-dimensional bubble, a peripheral flange having a major portion and a minor portion, and at least one area bounded by a perforation line which is capable of being broken. The major portion is folded to create at least one channel and the minor portion has a hook hole formed therethrough. A securement mechanism is formed with the minor portion. The securement mechanism includes a hinged tab and first and second cooperating attachment members. The blister package further includes a second member sized and configured to be slideably received within the at least one channel when the securement mechanism is in an open position. The second member is retained within the at least one channel when the securement mechanism is in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 7837033
Abstract: A magnetic storage device and a method of assembling the device are disclosed. The magnetic storage device includes a tray, a base and a magnetic member. The tray has a lower surface with a hollow area, and an upper surface. The upper surface has an upwardly extending member with a plurality of cavities formed therein. Each cavity is configured to enable one of a plurality of products to be at least partially retained therein. The base is designed to engage with the tray to completely enclose the hollow area. The magnetic member is sized and configured to be positioned within the hollow area. The magnetic member is capable of exerting a magnetic attraction to temporarily retain the plurality of products in the cavities and exerts a magnetic attraction through the base to releasably attach the magnetic storage device to a magnetically attractive surface.
