Date of Patent: May 5, 2020
    Assignee: FORSYS SUBSEA LIMITED
Inventors: Philippe Francois Espinasse, Thomas Parenteau, Antoine Marret
  • Patent number: 10533683
Abstract: A cover including an elongate body, capable of being applied to be facing an outer surface of the pipe, and at least one longitudinal interaction element for interacting with the pipe, supported by the elongate body. The elongate body is reversibly deformable under the effect of its own weight, the elongate body having a length of more than 10 m. The cover treats solid build-ups within a fluid-transport pipe in a simple, straightforward and inexpensive manner.

  • Patent number: 9062434
Abstract: The device of the disclosure comprises an assembly (22) for collecting material on the bed (12) of a body of water (14), a riser (48) for lifting the solid material, and a pump (90) for lifting the solid material collected by the collection assembly (22) in the riser (48) towards the surface facility (26). The device also comprises a separator (42) for generating a stream having a high content of solid material and a stream having a low content of solid material, the separator (42) including a lower outlet (76) for discharging the stream with high content of solid material. The device comprises an upstream hose (40) connecting the collection assembly (22) to the separator (42), and an intermediate pipe (44) connecting the or each discharge outlet (76) of the stream with high content of solid material to the riser (48), the delivery outlet (100) of the pump being tapped into the intermediate pipe (44).

  • Publication number: 20110245561
Abstract: Dehydrogenation of a reactor system of one or more vertically oriented flow reactors equipped with a system for introducing a catalyst extender into the inlet of the reactor. A vertically oriented radial flow reactor comprises inner and outer reactor tubes having perforated wall members extending longitudily of the reactor and defining an annulus containing a dehydrogenation catalyst. A supply line to the reactor is equipped with a rotation vane. An injection nozzle comprising a coaxial flow tube extends into the supply line downstream of the vane. The coaxial flow tube has an interior chamber and an annular chamber surrounding the interior chamber and extending into the supply line along with the interior chamber. The interior chamber is connected to a catalyst extender source and the annular chamber is connected to a source of a carrier gas which is effective to disperse the extender within feedstock flowing into the reactor.
