    Abstract: A golf swing training device configured to be removably attached to the handle of a standard golf club. The training device includes a light source that generates a parallel light beam, such as a laser beam, which enables a golfer using this device to visually monitor the position of the club with accuracy throughout the golf swing. The light source is enclosed within a pair of housings that are threadably coupled, such that the light source is activated by rotating one of the housings relative to the other. The training devices is secured to the golf club handle solely with a threaded member that is screwed into an opening in the end of the handle and draws the base of the device against the end of the handle.
