  • Patent number: 11379386
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed and include receiving, with a peripheral device, a message packet from a portable device, the message packet including an authenticated packet with a de-whitened tone byte inserted therein. The portable device generates first message authentication code (MAC) bytes based on a shared secret key and generates the authenticated packet based on the first MAC bytes, first nonce bytes, and a message byte. The peripheral device validates the message packet in response to determining that the first MAC bytes match second MAC bytes and that the first nonce bytes match second nonce bytes. The peripheral device generates a reconstructed message packet in response to validating the message packet by removing the de-whitened tone byte from the authenticated packet. The communication gateway establishes a communication link between the portable device and the communication gateway in response to receiving the reconstructed message packet.

  • Patent number: 11315581
Abstract: Techniques for encoding audio data with metadata are described. In an example, a device receives audio data corresponding to audio detected by a microphone and receives metadata associated with the audio. The device generates encoded data based at least in part on encoding the audio data with the metadata. The encoding involves replacing a portion of the audio data with the metadata, such that the encoded data includes the metadata and a remaining portion of the audio data. The device sends the encoded data to an audio processing application.

  • Patent number: 10757932
Abstract: An automated bioreactor system for decellularizing an organ includes a main chamber for containing the organ. The system further includes a reagent chamber containing a liquid phase reagent. A reagent conduit delivers the liquid phase reagent to the main chamber, and a perfusion conduit delivers the reagent from the reagent outlet in the main chamber into the organ. A perfusion pump drives the flow of the reagent. A perfusion pressure sensor detects a pressure of the flowing reagent. A control system controls the perfusion pump to drive the flow of the reagent based on a received input representative of a desired pressure and a received input of the detected pressure. The control system may automatically perform all of the steps of a decellularization protocol based on sensor input. An automated waste decontamination system may also be provided.
