Abstract: A carrying apparatus for transporting sports or activity equipment, such as a skateboard, in-line skates, a surfboard and/or the like, which attaches to a bicycle is disclosed. The carrying apparatus has a generally Y-shaped holding member and an adapter. The holding member holds a skateboard, in-line skates and/or a surfboard, while the adapter secures the carrying apparatus to a bicycle. The holding member preferably has a first extension member which extends into a first prong and a second extension member which extends into a second prong. The prongs connect at an adjoining central point. The adapter preferably has a first side portion and a second side portion, each of which may have a generally C-shaped portion. An inner wall of the first side portion and the second side portion fit around a seat support bar of a bicycle. The adapter may be secured to the seat support bar by any suitable means.

Abstract: A method of making a multiple part compliant interface for a microelectronic package including the steps of providing a first microelectronic element having electrically conductive parts, providing an array of curable elastomer support pads in contact with the first microelectronic element, curing the curable elastomer support pads while the support pads remain in contact with the first microelectronic element and providing an array of adhesive pads in contact with the support pads, whereby each adhesive pad is disposed over and in substantial alignment with one of the support pads. A second microelectronic element having electrically conductive parts is then assembled in contact with the array of adhesive pads by abutting the second microelectronic element against the array of adhesive pads and compressing the adhesive pads and support pads between the first and second microelectronic elements.

Abstract: A computer monitoring system. A serial message from a computer is received and analyzed in a user definable manner. This analysis causes one or more monitoring system activities to occur. These activities include a logging of the message, display of the message, announcement over a loudspeaker, and the placing of a telephone call to one or more people.
