Patent number: 11929657Abstract: A system has an axial field rotary energy device with a housing, an axis and a rotor with a shaft, bearings, rotor disks and permanent magnets. A printed circuit board (PCB) stator is between the rotor disks to define an air gap on each side thereof. A variable frequency drive (VFD) assembly has a VFD housing and first pads coupled to inductors to facilitate heat removal from the inductors. A concave cradle is coupled to a ferromagnetic core and has a same contour as an outer surface of the ferromagnetic core. A second pad is coupled to a rectifier module. A third pad is coupled to switching devices and has pins to align the switching devices with the third pad. Standoffs are coupled to the VFD housing to support a first printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). A second PCBA is mounted to a shield plate above the first PCBA.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2023Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: INFINITUM ELECTRIC INC.Inventors: Zachary Thomas Radkey-Pechacek, John Mitchell Wilson, George William Vogel, Jr., Shriram Pushparaj Patil, Randal A. Publication number: 20140114097Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for the continuous microwave depolymerization of high molecular weight organic feedstock material, such as waste plastics and includes intermittent or continuous feeding of the processing material on the surface or into the bulk of the sensitized hot bed located under microwave irradiation. As a result of the interaction of electromagnetic field with processed materials, sensitizer is heated by microwave energy and feedstock material undergoes the depolymerization reactions. The reaction zone can be localized on the surface of the hot bed or distributed in the bulk of the reaction mass depending on the agitation conditions of the reaction mass, such as stirring, or other agitation means, for example by re-circulated gas. Products of the reactions are vaporized and transported to the collection system, which may include a combination of a scrubber, a condenser and a settler.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2013Publication date: April 24, 2014Applicant: CLIMAX GLOBAL ENERGYInventors: John Hemmings, Thomas Pinto, Viktor Sharivker

Patent number: 6943339Abstract: An apparatus and method of making the same for sensing inclination. The apparatus includes a member moveably positioned in a body, the member moves in response to gravity between two positions if the body is rotated relative to an axis exceeding a certain amount. A detector can be used to detect when the member moves and can automatically report rotation. A method of making an inclinometer includes creating the body by laminating layers, where a layer is prefabricated to include an appropriate cut-out to guide the member between the two positions. Another layer or layers can include the detector. An aspect of the invention comprises having each layer include prefabricated features for multiple inclinometers, and then superposing the prefabricated layers, activating adhesive between them to form a lamination defining a plurality of inclinometers, and then separating the lamination into individual inclinometers.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2002Date of Patent: September 13, 2005Assignee: Vishay Infrared Components, Inc.Inventors: Robert Figueria, Thomas Pinto
