Abstract: An electrical connection part for a secondary cell and a secondary cell that includes this part and finding particular application in the field of lithium-ion type batteries are provided. The electrical connection part for connection to a current output terminal of a secondary cell includes a first portion for connection to an electrode plate group of the secondary cell providing electrical connection between the electrode plate group and the output terminal. The first portion has contact means which set up an electrical connection with the electrode plate group of the secondary cell using mechanical contact between the two.
