  • Publication number: 20240421969
Abstract: Methods, systems, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium that provide a sanctuary antenna for mitigating FDD carrier degradation during TDD antenna sharing are provided. The method begins with determining that the carrier degradation will occur during at least one FDD receive signal slot in a FDD frequency band on at least one antenna of the TDD frequency band based on the at least one FDD receive signal slot coinciding with at least one scheduled TDD transmit slot. Then, based on the determining, switching at least one scheduled FDD receive signal slot from the at least one antenna of the TDD frequency band to a sanctuary antenna occurs. The sanctuary antenna is used for a duration of at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) symbol.

  • Publication number: 20240323666
Abstract: Systems and methods for roaming user equipment (UE) management services for wireless communications networks are provided. In some embodiments, a roaming UE may be triggered to initiate a PLMN search based on leveraging geolocation based technology that determines when a roaming UE presently attached to a base station has entered a geographical area where coverage from a terrestrial base station may be available. The base station may track the location of the roaming UE, and correlate the location of the roaming UE to a coverage bin of the terrestrial coverage heat map. If the roaming UE is located within a coverage bin that is flagged as having terrestrial coverage available, the base station may perform one or more operations to trigger the UE to proceed to initiate a PLMN search, and perform an attach procedure to a base station having an identified higher priority PLMN.

  • Publication number: 20240061722
Abstract: Systems and methods for apportioning cloud-based resources through the use of domain name services based on real-time cloud-based database engine traffic patterns. For example, the system may monitor incoming cloud-based database engine traffic over a plurality of disparate computer network resources. The system may generate a first recommendation for domain name service based on the first difference, wherein the first recommendation requests a modification of an allocation of the plurality of disparate computer network resources.

  • Patent number: 11097382
Abstract: A welding screen includes a primary barrier made of a magnetic sheet. The welding screen enhances safety by halting or restricting the motion of magnetic and paramagnetic by-products, thereby preventing flame, light, magnetic material, sparks and dust from being scattered during welding or post-weld grinding. This improvement can be applied to various type of welding screens (welding curtain, welding windshield), by using a flexible magnetic sheet material as the primary barrier material.

  • Patent number: 10787892
Abstract: A system and method for the in situ processing of internal SRF cavity surfaces to reduce field emission and improve maximum gradient. An electromagnetic radiation source is introduced in the bore of a superconducting cavity to enhance ionization or dissociation of gases which then remove contaminants from the surface of the cavity, either through direct surface bombardment, chemical reaction or through the production of radiation which interacts with the contaminants. An RF or low frequency electromagnetic field may be established in the cavity which further enhances the ionization or dissociation process and may cause the ions to bombard sites with enhanced electric fields. The invention removes the requirement that the RF field be sufficient by itself to ionize gas in the cavity.

The in situ processing method could enable exposure of the entire internal surface of multiple cells in an RF structure to ionized or dissociated gas simultaneously rather than on a cell by cell basis.

  • Patent number: 7989388
Abstract: The invention relates to improved resin bonded sorbent compositions and articles of manufacture fabricated therewith, such as housings, structural components and circuit boards. The introduction of sorbents into resinous molding compositions enables the elimination of more conventional bagged sorbent containments. The novel molding compositions of the invention and parts fabricated therewith are multi-functional, beneficially combining structural, mechanical and adsorptive capabilities without requiring the usual reinforcing additives. Consequently, with the omission of reinforcing additives the novel molding compositions of the invention are further characterized by higher adsorptive capacities by allowing for higher sorbent loading factors than prior adsorbent-containing molding compositions.
