  • Patent number: 11410460
Abstract: A facial recognition system may monitor a light source that causes a unique pattern of light to be projected on the subject during image capture. The lighting pattern may include intensity, color, source location, pattern, modulation, or combinations of these. The lighting pattern may also encode a signal used to further identify a location, time, or identity associated with the facial recognition process. In some embodiments the light source may be infrared or another frequency outside the visible spectrum but within the detection range of a sensor capturing the image.

  • Publication number: 20220245641
Abstract: A system for intelligent recurring transaction processing and fraud detection comprises an artificial intelligence (AI) platform including machine learning (ML) models that are in communication with server computers. The servers access historical payment transaction data from a transaction database to train the ML models to predict future recurring transactions. The servers receive an authorization request from an acquirer for a payment transaction by a cardholder using a payment device, process the authorization request to the issuer and transmit a response. Transaction data from the authorization request is input into the ML models to predict whether the payment transaction comprises a recurring payment transaction and if so, determine a predicted date of a next recurring transaction. An API call is initiated to the issuer with transaction attributes regarding the next recurring payment transaction prior to the predicted date, and the issuer sends an alert message directly to the cardholder.

  • Publication number: 20210272102
Abstract: A method including receiving a selection from a first user device associated with a user, creating and storing a first cookie associated with states of a user account of the user that reflects the selection, and receiving, from a second user device, a request for state data related to the states of the user account. The method includes identifying the first cookie in response to the request for state data and determining a platform type of the second user device. The method includes generating a second cookie compliant with the platform type of the second user device based on the first cookie. The method includes sending the generated second cookie to the second user device, the second cookie including instructions to present the selection on the second user device via the platform type of the second user device.

  • Patent number: 11106476
Abstract: A helper SDK embedded in a native application performs local operations on behalf of a web application affiliated with the helper SDK. The helper SDK may perform security functions such as fingerprint or face biometric verifications as well as access device-specific hardware such as a camera or secure memory. The web application may use an 0Auth technique for access and refresh tokens. In a transaction system, when a user is confirmed via the security function, order details are passed to the web application with a refresh token and ciphertext confirmation data is returned to the native application for completion of the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11100537
Abstract: A dynamic button object managed by a financial institution that issues a payment device prevents third-party access to sensitive account data when linking the payment device to marketing documents provided by the third party. A payment processing server uses an alias for the sensitive data and configures a dynamic button object with the alias. The object may also include instructions to link the sensitive data to the alias and allow the payment processing server to monitor transactions with the third party. The payment processing server may then mediate communication between the consumer and the third party without exposing sensitive data.
