    Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic plumbing fixture fitting including an installation check system. The installation check system includes a mechanism to detect if a hot water line is connected to a hot water supply and a cold water line is connected to a cold water supply, and a mechanism to correct the connection of the hot water line to the hot water supply and the connection of the cold water line to the cold water supply if the hot water line was not properly connected to the hot water supply and the cold water line was not properly connected to the cold water supply during installation of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting.
