    Abstract: The following specification teaches a drip controlling spout with a downwardly oriented opening. The rim of the upper leading edge projects below the rim of the under or trailing edge, so that liquid flowing through the spout will fall off the upper projecting rim avoiding drips down the neck of the spout.
