  • Publication number: 20120063597
Abstract: A method of exchanging secret session keys in symmetric encryption communication includes storing random number tables in both the sending and receiving devices. The sending device then determines the secret session key utilizing the random number table, and transmits to the receiving device information for locating the secret session key within the random number table. Thus, the sending device shares the secret session key with the receiving device without actually transmitting the secret session key. The random number tables may be transmitted from one device to the other or be preinstalled in each device. Further, a common seed value may be used by each device to generate the random number table independently.

  • Patent number: 7382878
Abstract: A system and method for encrypting and/or compressing an input data string is disclosed. The input data string is divided into a plurality of blocks of data that each contains a plurality of bits of data. A block code is used to identify the size of each of the blocks of data. The blocks of data are analyzed to determine how frequently different groups of bits of data are present within each block of data. The blocks of data are also analyzed to determine whether certain relationships among the groups of bits of data exist within the blocks of data. After the blocks of data are analyzed, and in response to the analyses, a control code is generated for each block of data through the use of a control code index. After the control code for each block of data is generated, a position code is also generated for each block of data in response to the control code for the corresponding block of data.

  • Patent number: 4838551
Abstract: A card game puzzle including a supporting surface comprising a memory aid to be used at the option of a player. The supporting surface has a puzzle picture thereon and is adapted to support a plurality of cards. A plurality of cards are provided which are adapted to be arranged in rows and columns, and on the supporting surface at the option of the player, with each of the cards being rectangular in shape and having a first side with a different distinct segment of the puzzle picture thereon and a second side with identifying indicia such as the complete puzzle picture to be completed by arranging the cards in puzzle fashion thereon. The cards can be borderless and then properly arranged to complete the puzzle picture in uninterrupted fashion. In one embodiment, the card game puzzle includes a plurality of supporting surfaces and a plurality playing cards sets for multiple player card game utilization.

  • Patent number: 4813681
Abstract: A game including a plurality of playing markers adapted to be arranged in rows and columns. The playing markers include four playing markers having a first indicia thereon, four playing markers having a second indicia thereon, and a single playing marker having both a first and a second indicia thereon. The playing markers are adapted for random distribution in equal numbers to a pair of players with the remaining one of the playing markers defining a starting point, and one of the players selects one of the first and second indicia with the other of the players having the other of the first and second indicia. The one of the players thereafter places one of the playing markers in non-diagonal adjacent relation to the playing marker defining the starting point after which the other of the players places one of the playing markers in non-diagonal adjacent relation to a previously placed playing marker with the playing markers being placed in turn by the players in like fashion to form the rows and columns.
