  • Patent number: 6682606
Abstract: The present invention involves a system and method of treating a porous material of a vehicle wherein the porous material has microorganisms. The method includes providing first and second antimicrobial solutions. The method further includes applying the first antimicrobial solution to the porous material and scrubbing the first antimicrobial solution and the porous material so that the first solution contacts the microorganisms. The method further includes applying the second antimicrobial solution heated at a predetermined temperature to the porous material after a predetermined time upon applying the first solution. The method further includes removing the first and second antimicrobial solutions and the microorganisms from the porous material.

  • Patent number: 5865538
Abstract: An improved containerized batch mixer is disclosed. The mixer container is loaded with particulate material and the lid assembly is locked in place. The container is then rolled onto the mixing station where left and right forks on the lower docking arm assembly slide into left and right container rails on the container assembly. The docking arm drive assembly is then activated to start the lower docking arms on their upward path. A screw jack turns to slowly raise the lower docking arms. Left and right fork guide pins engage left and right guide holes on the container support frame. The mixing container's spear point is axially aligned with an impeller drive socket by a guide stop collar. Finally, as the lower docking arms travel toward the upper docking arm, the spear point rotationally engages drive socket.

  • Patent number: 5394958
Abstract: A rail lubrication apparatus of the type used with a rail having a base with outwardly extending flanges, a head, and a web connecting the base and the head, is comprised of a wiping bar and a first set of clamps for maintaining the wiping bar in position with respect to the rail. The lubrication apparatus also comprises a pump actuator and a second set of clamps for maintaining the pump actuator in position with the rail. The rail lubrication apparatus may be used with a pump, responsive to the pump actuator, for pumping a lubricant from a reservoir to the wiping bar to form a complete rail lubrication system. The clamps, wiping bar, and pump actuator are each of a unique construction.
