Abstract: A system and method are provided for processing and storing transaction data for users. A plurality of merchant terminals (34) process and store transaction payment information. The server system (26) receives transaction data from the merchant terminals and corresponding purchase verification data from one or more financial institutions (28). This server system matches the transaction data to purchased verification data and can send transaction data which matches purchase verification data to respective user terminals (20), and the respective user terminals are each able to store received transaction data for future access by the respective user.
