  • Publication number: 20150306789
Abstract: A method for implementing a channel (56) includes providing a preform (20) having a recess (22) therein and heating a channel implementation element (30?) to a temperature greater than a melting temperature of a material of the preform (20). An external contour of the channel implementation element (30?) at least regionally corresponds to an internal contour of the channel (56) to be implemented. The method then moves the heated channel implementation and/or the preform (20) in relation to one another so that the heated channel implementation element (56) at least regionally moves into the recess (22) in a moving-in direction. The material of the preform (20) is at least partially melted in a region around the recess (20) and is at least partially displaced by the channel implementation element (30?), wherein at least a part of the channel (56) to be implemented is thus implemented.

  • Publication number: 20150300861
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for installation into a hose and/or plastic pipe system and mounting of flow measurement sensors which comprises a plastic flow part as a hollow body with a centrally arranged and deformable region with a rectangular cross section. The present invention further relates to the use of the abovementioned device as well as to a method of flow measurement using the device.

  • Publication number: 20150259638
Abstract: A bioreactor has a reactor bag (12) with a predominantly flexible bag wall (121) that has a rigid bearing area. A stirrer arrangement (14) is in the bearing area and includes rigid profile ring (16) made of a non-magnetic material and fixed in the bearing area. The stirrer arrangement (14) also includes a shaftless stirrer (18) rotatably engaged with the profile ring (16) and having parts that are permanently magnetic. An electric coil arrangement (20) is outside the reactor bag (12) and can produce a rotating magnetic field that interacts with the permanent-magnetic areas of the stirrer (18) to produce a torque that rotates the stirrer (18) and circulates the contents of the bag (12).

  • Publication number: 20140116115
Abstract: A method for testing a flexible container includes arranging the flexible container on a winding core that can be rotated about a winding axis W and forms an internal support. The method continues by winding the flexible container around the winding axis W arranging an external support around the wound container and connecting at least one container opening of the container to a fluid source. The method proceeds by filling the container with a fluid from the fluid source to generate a predetermined positive pressure P1 in the flexible container at a first time T1 and determining whether the container is sufficiently leaktight.
