  • Patent number: 8312416
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, to realize a software model are described. Process components are defined that characterize software implementing respective and distinct business processes and additionally define at least one process agent that enables communications between a business object associated with the corresponding process component and a business object associated with any other process component. Business Process Variant Types are also defined that associate one or more of the process agents for the corresponding process component so that selection of a process variant type causes the associated one or more process agents to be activated.

  • Publication number: 20110045343
Abstract: A battery interface includes an interface housing which encloses an electrical connector for an electrically powered device and a fuse electrically connected to the electrical connector. The fuse is preselected to match the electrically powered device to which electrical power is to be supplied via the electrical connector. The interface housing is configured to be disposed on a battery housing and to be operatively connected thereto.

  • Publication number: 20080127082
Abstract: A system and method for requirements-based application configuration. According to an embodiment of the invention, a configuration server provides a user interface to assess one or more requirements for an application based on a set of pre-defined application requirements, generates a configuration proposal based on the one or more assessed requirements, the configuration proposal specifying a subset of the set of pre-defined application requirements correlating with the one or more assessed requirements, stores the one or more assessed requirements in the data store, and generates one or more application configuration components correlating with the specified subset of pre-defined application requirements to implement the application in accordance with the one or more assessed requirements.

  • Publication number: 20070261815
Abstract: A liquid cooled charge air cooler for use with an internal combustion engine comprises a plurality of separator plates supported in parallel spaced relation with one another to define a plurality of pairs of adjacent separator plates. The pairs alternatingly define a first set of adjacent pairs and a second set of adjacent pairs. A charge air inlet and a charge air outlet are each in fluid communication with the first set of adjacent pairs. A coolant inlet and a coolant outlet are each in fluid communication with the second set of adjacent pairs. Fins extend between adjacent separator plates of the first set of adjacent pairs to define a charge air flow path between the charge air inlet and a charge air outlet. A plurality of dams extend between adjacent separator plates of the second set of adjacent pairs in a select offset configuration to define a multi-pass coolant flow path between the coolant inlet and a coolant outlet in heat exchange relation with the charge air flow path.

  • Publication number: 20070125691
Abstract: A protective sleeve for use with metal intake racks used for screening debris from water intakes and other similar structures. The proactive sleeve may be made from a plastic material, such as HDPE, using an extrusion process. The sleeve is designed to snap into place over the metal blades of a bar rack, and to provide a positive and secure fit when in place. The protective sleeve thus provides the benefits of non-metallic intake racks to existing and future metal rack systems, without requiring replacement of existing metal racks.

  • Patent number: 5787143
Abstract: A nuclear reactor fuel assembly has an elongate fuel assembly casing. A fuel assembly head which is located within an open end of this fuel assembly casing is connected through the use of a rigid connecting body to a fuel assembly foot located in the fuel assembly casing and can be lifted off out of the fuel assembly casing. An angled part bears on the outside against two sides of the fuel assembly casing which meet one another and is retained on the fuel assembly head through the use of a bolt. A rigid peg can be disposed on the angled part and can engage into a port in one of the two sides which meet one another. Such a rigid peg can also be disposed on one of the two sides of the fuel assembly casing and can engage into a pocket in the angled part.
