  • Patent number: 11762024
Abstract: A system and structure determines when or if a utility cart is entering a restricted geographical area, and can disrupt the ignition of the cart to prevent or at least stop such use. The system can also determine a safe time and location for such ignition disruption. A monitoring device can remotely and reliably monitor the state of charge of the cart's battery, even for carts of a range of different battery energy capacities, rated voltage, and technical makeup, and communicate such information to a computer system. A standalone device can be retrofitted onto an existing golf cart without requiring fundamental changes to the cart's initial construction. The device can include an inexpensive module that can reliably monitor the battery state and implement ignition cutoff without requiring software processing capacity within the module.

Date of Patent: September 19, 2023
    Assignee: POWERTRAKKER LLC
Inventors: Michael Salcone, Thomas Reyes Caragan, Ann Marie Dryden, Edward Dennis Dryden

  • Patent number: 10894243
Abstract: A mechanochemical reactor includes an outer shell. A first plate is slidably disposed within the tubular outer shell at a first end of the tubular outer shell and a second plate is slidably disposed within the tubular outer shell at a second end of the tubular outer shell, the second end being opposite the first end. A linearly-reciprocating mill is disposed within the tubular outer shell between the first plate and the second plate. A first electromagnet is operatively coupled to the first plate so as to establish a position and a holding force of the first plate within the tubular outer shell, and a second electromagnet is operatively coupled to the second plate so as to establish a position and a holding force of the second plate within the tubular outer shell.

  • Publication number: 20060074635
Abstract: Systems and methods to indicate whether to store a database query language module in a local directory or a global directory are disclosed. An application program can be created once, tested once, and deployed in separate environments. The database query language modules can be shared among a group of application programs running in a common environment. Separate query language modules can be maintained for each environment.

  • Publication number: 20050033685
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a computerized method for effecting payment by a check includes electronically receiving payment information for a check drawing on a checking account of an account holder, retrieving from a storage location an image replacement document template associated with the checking account in response to receiving the payment information, and generating an image replacement document representative of the check by inserting the payment information into respective fields of the image replacement document template. The payment information includes a date, a payee, a dollar amount, a legal amount, and a signature.
