  • Publication number: 20180349829
Abstract: A method of optimizing employee work assignments comprises obtaining first and second key performance indicators (KPIs), performing a difference analysis on the first and second KPIs, correlating workplace productivity to the differences of the first and second KPIs, and optimizing employee work assignments based on productivity needs of the business. First KPIs may be for each employee of a plurality of employees. The second KPIs may be of one or more employee work groups associated with the plurality of employees. The analysis may be of difference correlations between the first KPIs and the second KPIs to determine synergistic relationships between specific employee groupings of the plurality of employees. The optimization of the employee work assignments may be an assignment given to each employee of the plurality of employees to optimized employee groupings based on the difference correlations of the first KPIs and the second KPIs.

  • Publication number: 20180330302
Abstract: A novel method for managing employees using one or more processors including non-transitory memory programmed to assign job duties to the one or more employees being managed based on correlations between individual employee historical records, out-of-range deviations of non-invasive biometric indicators, indicators of production, and performance trends of the employee(s) being managed. Biometric data is collected and correlated to determine deviations from an established baseline in order to readily identify and assign optimized job duties to an employee or an employee workforce. Poor job related performance by a single employee or plurality of employees may be detected and corrected.

  • Publication number: 20180274976
Abstract: An illumination system incorporating a multi-faceted mirror in operative communication with an array of discrete illumination sources. The multi-faceted mirror may accept incident light beams from discrete illumination sources located at different positions and then deliver a reflected output to a common location for direct acceptance by an optical/imaging device or by a light guide transmission device operatively connected to a downstream optical/imaging device. Individual light sources may be selected and/or combined in a defined sequence by selectively activating and deactivating such light sources electronically with no need for moving parts. By pulsing different illumination sources, the optical/imaging system may be provided with a feed of narrow-band illumination for use in imaging. Outputs from several illumination sources can also be combined if desired to produce a custom-tuned illumination spectrum for a particular application.

  • Publication number: 20160227279
Abstract: A user-specified custom channel includes media content programs having any number of respective program sources. The custom channel has an associated lineup that defines the date/time at which individual media content programs are available via the custom channel. A custom channel may be represented in an electronic program guide, and a custom channel may be published by the user that created the custom channel to make the custom channel available to other users.

  • Publication number: 20070099226
Abstract: The present invention provides modified cyclic nucleotide gated (CNG) channels. In particularly preferred embodiments, the modified CNG channels exhibit increased sensitivity and specificity for cAMP, as compared to wild-type CNG channels. In additional embodiments, regulation by Ca2+-calmodulin has been removed in the modified CNG channels. Convenient optical methods for detecting changes in cAMP, taking advantage of the Ca2+ permeability of the channel are also provided by the present invention. In addition, electrophysiological methods are further provided.

  • Publication number: 20070008559
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of matching color elements for objects having different source color definitions within a print job prior to printing, includes identifying all source colors to be printed within the print job and object type associated with each instance of a source color; identifying any source colors having at least two different source color definitions; for each source color having at least two different source color definitions, selecting one of the source color definitions in accordance with a predetermined criterion; and assigning the selected source color definition to at least one other instance of the source color for that object type. The predetermined criterion may include for each source color having at least two different source color definitions for the same object type, assigning the selected source color definition to all other instances of the source color for that object type.

  • Patent number: 6695151
Abstract: A shelving unit has left- and right-hand side rails for engaging the inner surfaces of opposed sidewalls of a display system. A generally trapezoidal bridge member having its upper lateral edge as the major side, is defined by two outer, longitudinal edges which slope inwardly at a prescribed angle as each moves from the upper lateral edge. The sloping longitudinal edges are adapted for frictionally engaging each respective side rail such that pressure exerted by the bridge member is sufficient to hold each side-rail in place between the inner walls of a display system. Each side rail and the bridge member define an upper surface for supporting a display item.
