  • Patent number: 10217185
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing interactive and customized experiences to clients of a media universe (MU) system. The MU system may leverage network-based computation resources and services, for example a streaming service, and a digital asset repository or repository service to dynamically provide customized and customizable experiences to clients. Clients may create or modify digital assets (e.g., 3D models of characters, objects, etc.), which may be stored to the asset repository. The MU system may dynamically render digital media content of the media universe (e.g., movies, games, etc.) that includes the clients' custom digital assets (characters, objects, backgrounds, etc.) inserted into appropriate locations, and stream the dynamically customized content to respective client devices. Effectively, a client layer of content is overlaid on a base or canonical layer of content within digital media of the media universe.

  • Publication number: 20180369674
Abstract: The present invention is a sport training equipment apparatus developed for lacrosse players. The purpose is to act as a high density lacrosse ball re-bounder for lacrosse players to practice throwing and catching on. The core components of the invention are: The main body of the apparatus, which is made of a high density composite panel incorporating dense solid core material that forms a curved, hard surface of the wall on an incline. This playing surface of the main body will be manufactured out of fiber reinforced plastic or other high density composites in a mold. The main body will be filled with a dense core material to create a dense, heavy surface, which upon collision of a thrown ball and the wall, will transform the kinetic energy inherent in a thrown ball, into potential energy stored in the ball utilizing the elastic properties of the ball itself rather than relying on the elastic properties of the rebounding apparatus.

The mobile applications may be executing on an application server that is remote from the vehicle and communicating with the at least one computer. Further, the mobile applications may be configured to receive inputs from and transmit outputs to the at least one computer. An HMI application executing on the at least one computer may enable the provisioning of one or more services of the HMI to the mobile applications so that inputs and/or outputs to the mobile applications may be exchanged. Vehicle-based operation of the mobile applications from the at least one computer via the HMI may thus be enabled.

  • Patent number: 10161296
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a pre-chamber. In another aspect, pressure within a pre-chamber is equal to or greater than pressure within a main combustion chamber at least prior to ignition in the main combustion chamber. In yet another aspect, internal combustion engine control software automatically controls pressure within a turbulent jet ignition pre-chamber, controls a valve-actuator to admit a fuel-air charge into the pre-chamber, and causes an igniter to initiate combustion in the pressurized pre-chamber. This also permits the rate of combustion to be controlled in the primary chamber regardless of the air-fuel ratio or the diluent fraction in the main chamber. Another aspect employs a pre-chamber purge pump with separate air and fuel injection.
