  • Patent number: 12564356
Abstract: A two layer compression garment measuring system that displays a pressure indicia when the garment is stretched, wherein the pressure indicia is displayed by moving from a position under an opaque layer of material (at low or no pressure) to a position under a window or transparent or translucent layer of material (at higher pressure). When the indicia can be seen by an observer through the window or transparent or translucent layer, then the higher pressure has been reached. The viewed indicia optionally displays the pressure level. In various optional designs, the location of attachment between the two spaced-apart locations is adjustable, or the length of the upper layer is adjustable such that the attachment location can be aligned with the indicia. A design having a free ended upper layer is also included.

  • Patent number: 12333450
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for sample size prediction for online activity. In various examples, first data related to a first sample of users interacting with an online service during a first time period may be received. In some cases, first key performance indicator (KPI) data related to the first sample of users' interaction with the online service may be received. A predicted sample size of users that will interact with the online service for a second time period following the first time period may be predicted. A predicted statistical power may be determined using the predicted sample size. In some examples, a minimum amount of time to route traffic to the online service may be determined based at least in part on the predicted statistical power.

  • Publication number: 20240089897
Abstract: Mobile devices are used as temporary location anchor points, e.g., to supplement fixed location permanent location anchor points, in a wireless communications system in which mobile device locations are determined. A mobile device receives a command or request to operate as a location anchor point. In some embodiments, the command includes time information indicating the amount of time the mobile device is to operate as a location anchor point. In some embodiments, a mobile device operating as a location anchor point reports a received signal strength measurement along with information identifying the device from which the signal was received to a network element, e.g., a location server node. In some embodiments, a mobile device operating as a location anchor point broadcasts a signal providing location information. The mobile device receives compensation for operating as a location anchor point. Compensation may be monetary, services, or benefits provided by the network.
