  • Patent number: 8918098
Abstract: A device and method for intercepting and analyzing traffic for terminals connected to a telecommunications network, according to wireless technology, using telecommunications standards. A terminal is connected to a telecommunication network such that the terminal can transmit and receive with the network. The terminal executes at least one service on the network in accordance with at least one communication protocol and a graphic user interface. The device also intercepts and stores data frames exchanged over the network by said terminal in the context of services being executed, and analyzes the stored frames to deduce parameters characterizing the connection of the terminal to the network. The device also identifies the various executed services and their associated instantaneous rate, and while allowing real time viewing of the parameters characterizing the connection via the graphic user interface.

  • Patent number: 7261128
Abstract: A hand tool capable of wrapping and unwrapping wires on terminals is provided with a an electrically-insulating drive housing or adaptor and coupling which insulate the bit, and sleeve if present, and driver from the housing and the gear train thereby protecting the user in case of accidental contact between the housing and an active electrical source while the tool is being used. The coupling tightly couples together divided drive shaft portions to maintain the electrical isolation.

  • Patent number: 6559413
Abstract: Method for laser machining explosives and related articles. A laser beam is directed at a surface portion of a mass of high explosive to melt and/or vaporize the surface portion while directing a flow of gas at the melted and/or vaporized surface portion. The gas flow sends the melted and/or vaporized explosive away from the charge of explosive that remains. The method also involves splitting the casing of a munition having an encased explosive. The method includes rotating a munition while directing a laser beam to a surface portion of the casing of an article of ordnance. While the beam melts and/or vaporizes the surface portion, a flow of gas directed at the melted and/or vaporized surface portion sends it away from the remaining portion of ordnance. After cutting through the casing, the beam then melts and/or vaporizes portions of the encased explosive and the gas stream sends the melted/vaporized explosive away from the ordnance.

  • Patent number: 4177555
Abstract: A tool for wrapping insulated wire without first stripping or slitting the insulation is obtained by means of a novel bit configuration which crushes the insulation during the wrapping process causing the terminal corners to pierce and contact the wire core. Additional features include means for breaking the wire after wrapping, and means providing a continuous supply of fresh wire.

  • Patent number: 4172317
Abstract: A hand tool for inserting a MOS integrated circuit into a socket is described. The tool is characterized by a handle having at one end gripping means operative with a collet-like action for receiving the MOS IC. A rotatable sleeve on the handle opens and closes the gripping means, and further means are provided on the handle to eject the IC. The tool is mainly of plastic, with a conductive surface, and means are provided for electrically grounding the tool to avoid damaging the IC.
