  • Publication number: 20150164156
Abstract: The mat has a front layer made of soft, liquid absorbent and breathable towel-like material stitched to a wind proof protective canvas backing layer. Designed for use at the beach, the mat provides a surface for drying the body. When wrapped around the body for use as a shawl, the mat provides protection from the weather. The surface of the front layer can have an imprinted design. A raised border is provided on the surface to provide additional rigidity to prevent flapping in the wind. The border also provides a “picture frame” for the design. In one embodiment, a cushion layer made of foam is interposed between the front and backing layers for increased comfort while sitting or lying on the mat. In another embedment, the thickness of the cushion layer and the size of the mat are reduced for storage in a motorcycle saddle bag.

  • Patent number: 6866109
Abstract: A mobility vehicle (10) is formed by attaching a pair of scooter (S) bases (16) to a platform (14). Each scooter base includes two wheels (18, 20) and one of the wheels is drivingly connected to a battery (14) operated motor (12) to drive the vehicle. The battery and motor both comprise part of a scooter. A yoke (70) extends between the scooter wheels (18) at the front of the vehicle and a steering column (23) attaches to the yoke for steering for the vehicle as the column is turned. The steering column includes handlebars (24a, 24b) with associated handgrips (25a, 25b) for controlling vehicle speed and braking the vehicle to stop it. A seat (44) mounts on the platform for the operator of the vehicle to sit down while driving it. The seat and steering column are both removable for storing the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5705055
Abstract: An apparatus for separating grease from an effluent stream containing grease and water includes a separation tank, having a separation chamber; in which the grease and water in the effluent separate with the grease floating on top of the water. Grease is heated to a liquid state then pumped from the separation tank when the depth of the grease has reached a predetermined depth below an upper surface of the effluent in the separation tank. The pumping of grease from the separation tank is interrupted after a predetermined period of time. Separated water passes through a relatively low passage to a trap chamber which has a water outlet.
