  • Patent number: 10965043
Abstract: A set screw for connecting conductors with electrical terminals, such as a terminal block of a load panel includes a screw body and a screw face. The screw face fits inside the screw body and is movable along the axis of the screw body. An elastically deformable member, such as a coil spring or set of spring washers is disposed between the screw body and the screw face. The elastically deformable member compresses in response to force exerted between the screw body and screw face. An indicator bar is connected with the screw face and moves along the axis of the screw body along with the screw face in response to the compressive force. The proximal end of the indicator bar extends proximal of the screw body and includes one or more indicia that show the deformation of the elastically deformable member.

  • Publication number: 20200298327
Abstract: The present disclosure provides chain guards for chain saws attached to the end of a long reach pole. The chain guards include a chip deflector and a deflector cover that deflects and channels wood chips away from an operator. The chip deflector includes one or more curved surfaces configured to deflect the wood chips out of the chain guard and away for the operator while minimizing binding of the wood chips with the chain.

  • Publication number: 20200220337
Abstract: Tools for operating on an object, such as a wire or cable are provided. The tool includes a housing and a working head assembly. The working head assembly has a movable section and fixed section secured to the housing. The movable section has a first end movably secured to a first end of the fixed section. The movable section has a second end that is releasably secured to a second end of the fixed section using a latch pin. The working head assembly also includes a latch pin stop that is positioned in the second end of the movable section. The latch pin stop is configured to prevent the latch pin from releasably securing the movable section to the fixed section until the movable section is properly aligned with the fixed section.

  • Patent number: 10651636
Abstract: Tools for operating on an object, such as a wire or cable are provided. The tool includes a frame, and a working head assembly. The working head assembly has a movable section and fixed section secured to the frame. The movable section has a first end movably secured to a first end of the fixed section. The movable section has a second end that is releasably secured to a second end of the fixed section using a latch pin. The working head assembly also includes a latch pin stop that is positioned in the second end of the movable section. • Publication number: 20190160639
Abstract: Portable, hand held, battery operated, hydraulic tools are provided with a tool frame and one or more interchangeable working heads. When the working head is connected with the tool frame, a piston actuated by a hydraulic system within the tool frame applies force to the working head to perform a task. A coupling mechanism holds the working head to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism allows the working head to be removed from the tool frame and another working head to be joined to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can hold the working head at a fixed rotational angle with respect to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can also allow the working head to rotate with respect to the tool frame.

  • Publication number: 20190123502
Abstract: Portable, hand held, battery operated, dieless, hydraulic crimping tools are provided with a working head and a tool frame. The working head has a head frame with an open access to a working area of the working head. The open access may be in the form of a C-shape. The working head has a nest to receive a crimping member. An indentor is attached to a piston within the tool frame. The piston moves the indentor between a home position adjacent the tool frame and an indenting position where the indentor impacts the crimping member.
