  • Patent number: 9982797
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second passages; a coil wound around a coil bobbin; a stator with a third passage; a plunger having a through hole therein; a flux return device; and a spring. When the coil is energized, the plunger is attracted toward the stator such that the plunger closes the third passage, and connects the first passage with the second passage through the through hole in the coil bobbin. When the coil is not energized, the plunger moves away from the stator such that the plunger closes the first passage, and connects the second passage with the third passage. A resilient gasket between the stator and the flux return device reduces vibration from direct contact between the plunger and the stator, being transmitted to the flux return device, thereby reducing vibration and noise.

  • Patent number: 9982763
Abstract: An electrically powered drive system for a medical device includes a motor, a gear box driven by the motor, a driving member for moving a part of the device, a crank mechanism, and a push-pull mechanism. The crank mechanism includes first and second crank arms each having a connection end and a distal end. The first crank arm's distal end is pivotally connected to the driving member. The second crank arm's connection end is pivotally connected to the first crank arm's connection end. The second crank arm's distal end is pivotally connected to a stationary member. The push-pull mechanism is connected to and driven by an output member of the gear box to drive the crank mechanism to move the driving member between a retracted position and an extended position.

  • Patent number: 9903462
Abstract: A planetary gear transmission has a gearbox, multiple stages of planetary gears, and an output shaft. Except for the last stage, each planetary gear stage shares a common first internal gear ring. Each stage has a sun gear, a planet carrier, and multiple planet gears. The sun gear of each stage, except for the first stage is integrally formed with or fixed to the planet carrier of an immediately preceding stage. The last stage of the transmission has a second internal gear ring. The planet gears of the last stage mesh with the second internal gear ring. The second internal gear ring includes a support portion, and the output shaft passes through and is rotatably supported by the support portion.

  • Patent number: 9482358
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second ports. A bobbin is mounted to the valve body. A winding is wound on the bobbin. A stator is fitted to one end of a hole through the bobbin and defines a third port therein. A plunger is slidably fitted to the hole and movable between a normal position and an energized position. Two plugs are installed at respective ends of the plunger and arranged to selectively close the first and third ports. A flux return device is fixed to the stator and the bobbin. A spring returns the plunger from the energized position, where the plunger closes the third port and the first and second ports communicate with each other via the hole in the bobbin, to the normal position, where the plunger closes the first port and the second and third ports communicate with each.

  • Publication number: 20130021124
Abstract: A magnetic trigger mechanism with a yoke with armature opening. The armature is coaxially surrounded by a coil having an excitation coil, which is acted on by a force of a preloaded spring and which remains in a first end position due to magnetic holding force of a permanent magnet when there is no current flowing through the excitation coil. The permanent magnet is arranged at a first end of the armature and the second end position of the armature being achieved by a brief flow of current through the excitation coil together with the accompanying lowering of the magnetic holding force and the spring force. The first end of the armature is guided in the coil body, and the second end position, which faces the armature opening, is guided by a centering ring, the highly permeable centering ring rests against the yoke at the armature opening and can move.

  • Patent number: 8100381
Abstract: The invention relates to an integrated gas regulating and safety valve for burners of a modulatable gas heating device. According to the invention, the gas regulating and safety valve comprises a housing (1) with two controllable closing elements, the axes of which are spaced apart from each other and extend one behind the other in series in the direction of gas flow between an inlet channel (2) and an outlet channel (4) of the housing. In the de-energized state, the two closing elements abruptly close the gas regulating and safety valve independently of each other, in each case by means of an associated spring element (7, 12). The first closing element, additionally serving for the modulation of the gas stream, has a drive spindle (15.1), which is formed as a spindle of a stepping motor (15), is surrounded by an excitation winding (16) and has placed on its end a restrictor component (8) and, at a distance from that, the first spring element (7).

  • Patent number: 7486496
Abstract: A method for operating an electromagnetic operating mechanism includes, upon application of a control voltage, resetting and initializing a control circuit and starting a charging of a charge storage device. Subsequently, an auxiliary tripping coil and a main tripping coil are sequentially briefly energized, and, if no current flow occurs through at least one of the tripping coils, the control voltage is permanently disconnected. If a current flow occurs through each of the tripping coils, a closing coil is energized so as to move the armature to an attracted position, and the closing coil is subsequently de-energized. Subsequently, sequentially briefly energizing the auxiliary tripping coil and the main tripping coil are sequentially briefly energized without affecting the armature. Upon removal of the control voltage, the charge storage device is discharged through the main tripping coil so as to move the armature to the dropped-out position.

  • Patent number: 5673165
Abstract: A reduction in contact bounce in an electromagnetic switch is accomplished by optimizing armature speed over its travel path with a circuit arrangement for controlling a drive current in the coil of the electromagnetic switch. A superposed speed loop including a speed sensor produces a measured voltage in response to speed of the armature. A converter coupled to the speed sensor converts the measured voltage into a value corresponding to an actual speed of the armature. A first summer receives a constant reference value corresponding to a desired speed for the armature and the value corresponding to the actual speed of the armature, and produces a difference voltage corresponding to a difference between the desired speed and the actual speed of the armature. A proportional element amplifies the difference voltage and produces a desired current value corresponding to the amplified difference voltage.
