  • Publication number: 20260199094
Abstract: A subchondral implant and subchondral implant system are disclosed, and are designed as a bone void filler for damaged bone tissue. The subchondral implant comprises a body component configured in a cylindrical shape with a hollow interior cavity and an exterior curved sidewall. The curved sidewall includes a plurality of helical ribs in a spaced apart manner for optimal fixation. The top surface comprises a plurality of through-holes for sutures, when securing tissue graft. An adjacent subchondral implant can be utilized with the subchondral implant and is nested against it for use. The nested implants allow users to repair large, elongated areas that may not be repaired by a single subchondral implant.
