  • Publication number: 20250230793
Abstract: A wind turbine comprising a tower, a nacelle, a hub, and three or more wind turbine blades is disclosed. The wind turbine further comprises blade connecting tension members, each blade connecting tension member extending between a connection point at one wind turbine blade and a connection point at a neighbouring wind turbine blade. Each blade connecting tension member comprises a tension member core, and a surface texture providing layer. arranged circumferentially with respect to the tension member core, thereby modifying a surface texture of an outer surface of the blade connecting tension member. This reduces the drag as well as the noise originating from blade connecting tension members. Furthermore a tension member is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12331712
Abstract: A wind turbine comprising includes a tower, a nacelle mounted on the tower, and a rotor mounted to the nacelle. The rotor comprises a hub and at least three pitchable wind turbine blades connected to the hub via respective pitch mechanisms. The airfoil profile of each blade has a thickness being the greatest distance between the windward and leeward sides orthogonal to the chord. Each blade comprises a connection point located at a first radial position between the blade root and the blade tip. The wind turbine further comprises one or more blade connecting members connected between the connection point and a corresponding connection point on a neighbouring blade. The thickness and/or the relative thickness of each blade is substantially constant or has a local minimum within an inboard portion of the blade between the blade root and the connection point.

  • Publication number: 20240427033
Abstract: In an embodiment a method for providing electrical power to a detector includes providing a high voltage by a high voltage source, generating ring voltages from the high voltage and supplying one ring voltage to each ring electrode and generating a backside contact voltage from the high voltage and supplying the backside contact voltage to the backside electrode, wherein the ring voltages are uncontrolled and wherein the backside contact voltage is adjusted such that a difference voltage between a first ring voltage and the backside contact voltage is constant.

  • Publication number: 20240427034
Abstract: In an embodiment a method for processing a detector signal by a signal chain includes detecting, by a detector, a plurality of detection events, increasing an output voltage of an amplifier after each detection event, and resetting the output voltage of the amplifier when the output voltage exceeds a threshold due to a threshold event, wherein the threshold is smaller than a maximum voltage value determined by an overdrive value of an input voltage of a signal processor to which the output voltage of the amplifier is connected, wherein resetting is determined by processing of the threshold event only irrespective of other detection events, and wherein a reset is triggered by a signal edge of a reset pulse.

  • Patent number: 11573926
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for detecting stale data and/or changed data. For example, a bitmap file may be maintained and mapped to an inofile describing various states of files of a file system. The bitmap file may be populated with bitmap records indicating whether files were accessed, modified, or have other states. The bitmap file may efficiently convey information used to determine whether files have not been accessed recently (e.g., stale data) or were recently modified (e.g., changed data) compared to the inofile because the bitmap file may comprise a fraction of the size of the inofile (e.g., a byte of information may be used to represent various states of one or more files). In this way, instead of evaluating a relatively larger inofile, the bitmap file may be evaluated to efficiently identify stale data for deletion or destaging and/or changed data for backup.

  • Patent number: 11119905
Abstract: An asset management system is provided which comprises one or more controllers, which operate as main servers and can be located at the headquarters of an electronic device manufacturer to remotely control their operations at any global location. The controller can communicate remotely over the Internet or other network to control one or more secondary or remote servers, herein referred to as appliances. The appliances can be situated at different manufacturing, testing or distribution sites. The controller and appliances comprise hardware security modules (HSMs) to perform sensitive and high trust computations, store sensitive information such as private keys, perform other cryptographic operations, and establish secure connections between components. The HSMs are used to create secure end-points between the controller and the appliance and between the appliance and the secure point of trust in an asset control core embedded in a device.
