  • Publication number: 20240077057
Abstract: A method for starting a wind turbine with hinged wind turbine blades, the wind turbine further comprising an adjustable biasing mechanism arranged to apply an adjustable biasing force to each wind turbine blade which biases the wind turbine blade towards a position defining a minimum pivot angle. The biasing mechanism is adjusted to apply a predefined biasing force to each wind turbine blade, and the pivot angle of each wind turbine blade is monitored. The wind turbine is started in the case that the pivot angle of at least one wind turbine blade exceeds a predefined pivot angle threshold.

  • Patent number: 4403727
Abstract: An open top, multi-compartmented display carton for the displaying and dispensing of upstanding pouches, envelopes or packets, and which includes a mechanically locking bottom wall structure, an apertured or windowed front wall, a back wall, two end walls and at least one partition extending between the front and back walls, with the entire carton structure being folded and glued from a single fiberboard blank. The bottom wall structure of the display carton includes four flaps which are hinged to the lower edges of four adjacent walls of the carton, and wherein at least three of the bottom flaps include tab structure adapted to interengage upon the flaps being superimposed when the carton is in a set-up or assembled condition, and wherein the tabs will form a mechanical locking structured assisted for retention in its locked condition by the weight of the packets located in the carton compartments.

  • Patent number: 4122948
Abstract: A carton is constituted of end wall and side wall panels, extensions on the panels forming top closure flaps and dust flaps, weakening lines being provided on the top closure flaps to define severable flap sections. One of the dust flaps is shaped in conformance with one of the top closure flap sections and is adhesively-bonded thereto, so that severing of the closure flap sections along the weakening lines will form a pouring aperture. The pouring aperture can be positively reclosed by tucking a free edge of the severable section of the outer top closure flap beneath a portion of the inner top closure flap.
