  • Patent number: 5970135
Abstract: An automatic call distributor (12) having a device (10) for routing application telephone calls to any agent (20), a device (10) for routing an exterior position call directly to a particular agent (20), a device (10) for routing an interior position call directly to the particular agent (20), a device (10) for indicating the type of call being received among the application, external position, and internal position calls to the particular agent (20), and a device (10) for connecting the desired indicated call to the particular agent (20).

  • Patent number: 5857018
Abstract: An automatic call distributor (ACD) for routing application, external position and internal position telephone calls to one of a plurality of agents is disclosed. Priority levels of the different types of calls are selectively assigned for each individual agent and can be changed as desired. When a plurality of incoming calls having different call types are received concurrently for a particular agent, the call of the call type having the highest priority as determined for the particular agent is connected to the particular agent first.

Date of Patent: January 5, 1999
    Assignee: Rockwell International Corp.
Inventors: Roger A. Sumner, Thomas S. Holtaway, John P. Lenihan, Daniel F. Baker
  • Patent number: 5544232
Abstract: An automatic call distributor (20) connected with a plurality of agent telephonic sets (12) for audio communication with customers at customer telephonic sets (16) of an external telephonic switching system (18), visual displays (32) on the agent telephonic sets (12) for display of information concerning customers with an automated preannouncement system (10) having a hard disk (25) for storing preannouncement voice messages in a voice of a particular agent, a sign-in code stored in a main memory (24) of the automatic call distributor (20) associated with the particular agent, a key pad (34) at the agent sets (12) for entering in a sign-in code, and a digital audio source card circuit (30) for playing a preannouncement voice message received from the hard disk (25) in the voice of the particular agent associated with the sign-in code to a customer at a customer set (16) connected by the automatic call distributor (20) to the agent set (12) at which the sign-in code of the particular agent has been entered.

  • Patent number: 5526416
Abstract: An automatic call distributor system (28) with an automatic call distributor (20) for selectively interconnecting telephonic calls from external telephonic units (32) of an external telephonic network (34) to a plurality of Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) interior telephonic units (30) with ISDN characteristics and a microprocessor (50) in the ISDN telephonic unit (30) for controlling the ISDN telephonic unit (30) to alter and enhance performance characteristics of the ISDN telephonic unit (30) in an automatic call distribution environment.

  • Patent number: 4458132
Abstract: A resistance-type welder employing a pulsed power supply and a pair of opposed electrodes between which a workpiece may be clamped under pressure, includes a microcomputer based control system for allowing precise selection and control of welding sequences such as the duration during which the workpiece is clamped, the duration during which current is supplied to the electrodes and the duration during which the workpiece remains clamped between the electrodes after current flow is terminated. A plurality of switchable input devices allows data corresponding to a plurality of process variables to be input to a random access memory. A central processor enabled by a manually operable control switch produces control signals for operating a control and firing circuit in accordance with programmed instructions and the data stored in the random access memory in order to control each step in a welding cycle for precise time periods.
