    Abstract: A charging cord for supplying electric current to an electric power storing device of an electric vehicle includes an electrical cable having a first end and a second end, the first end being operatively connected to the electric power storing device and the second end being adapted to be connected to an electrical power supply. A housing is provided for supporting the electrical cable along a predetermined length thereof. The housing includes a plurality of section members pivotally connected relative to each other for permitting limited lateral motion in a single plane to maintain the charging cord a predetermined distance above the ground surface.

    Abstract: An improved pressure transducer having a switching device operated in response to changes in fluid pressure is disclosed which incorporates a terminal support member having electrical contacts which are designed to be electrically bonded to and mechanically interlocked with electrical contacts provided within the housing. The invention also includes an improvement in the piston contacts for preventing scratching of the resistor board. A method is provided for permanently connecting terminals of the housing with the mating metal connector terminals once they have been properly calibrated and connecting the housing ground strap with the terminal support member.

The transducer is also designed to facilitate grounding of an electrical contact assembly located within the housing. The external portion of the housing may be formed in a hexagonl shape to facilitate installation and removal of the unit.

    Abstract: A fluid pressure transducer having a hollow enclosure with an elongated tubular guide supported therein around which a tubular piston moves in response to fluid pressure forces acting on one piston end. A spirally-wound wire resistance coil on the guide is contacted by one end of a conductor carried by the movable piston to effectively charge resistance through the conductor and parts of the coil. The conductor is connected to one end of a metal spring which opposes piston movement due to pressure forces. An opposite end of the metal spring is connected to a terminal to transmit the resistance changes.
