  • Patent number: 10384010
Abstract: Drug delivery device adapted to receive a drug-filled cartridge comprises a piston drive member for expelling a dose of drug from a loaded cartridge, a motor for driving the piston drive member, a rechargeable electric power source, an electrical connector allowing an external connector of a power source to be connected for recharging the power source, and a controller for controlling operation of the motor. The controller is adapted to detect a condition indicative of an external power source being connected to the electrical connector and subsequently disable the expelling assembly to thereby prevent that drug can be expelled from a loaded cartridge when an external power source has been connected to the electrical connector.

  • Patent number: 9601962
Abstract: Described is a wind turbine, a generator and a rotor housing for a generator with an external rotor, the rotor housing comprising a support structure, wherein the support structure is cylindrical shaped, a cone and a ring. The ring and the cone are attached together at an inner side of the cone in a horizontal plane, forming a front part of the rotor housing. The support structure is attached to the cone at a front end of the support structure, forming a side part of the rotor housing, and the support structure is formed out of segmented support structure parts. Also disclosed is the method for making the rotor housing.

  • Publication number: 20160325041
Abstract: A transmission comprises a first gear wheel and a second gear wheel with a threaded bore, and a threaded non-rotationally arranged rod in threaded engagement with the threaded bore, rotation of the second gear wheel thereby providing axial movement of the rod. The first and second gear wheel are arranged in a common plane and in rotational engagement with each other, wherein the combined second gear wheel and rod are arranged to pivot corresponding to a centre point defined by the intersection of the rod axis and the common plane, whereby the rod, with the gear wheels in engagement, can be arranged out of alignment with the first gear wheel axis.

  • Publication number: 20150256039
Abstract: An outer structure of a generator is provided. A generator includes a rotor and a stator, whereby the generator is a radial flux electrical machine. An outer part of the generator is the stator or the rotor, whereby the outer part of the generator includes a support structure. The support structure is modular and the modules are arranged in rows. The modules are arranged in a staggered manner, so that a module in a first row of modules is connected to two modules of a second row abutting on the first row.

  • Patent number: 7554734
Abstract: A grating has a high diffraction efficiency into the minus first diffracted order in transmission, for both TE and TM polarizations. The incident angle may optionally be chosen so that the minus first diffracted order in reflection would be retroreflected back to the incident beam. The grating may be formed from various materials and/or layers, where the thicknesses of the individual layers may be determined by an optimization or simulation process. In one aspect, the grating may have four or more layers, formed with three or more materials. In another aspect, the grating may have a longitudinal refractive index profile that contains at least two local extrema, such as a maximum and/or minimum. Such a grating may be formed from three or more materials, two materials, or a single material that has a continuously varying refractive index. Any or all of the materials may have a continuously varying refractive index profile, as well.
