Abstract: The present invention relates to a multilayer decorative plastic web or board, comprising a carrier sheet containing a thermoplastic material having at least one layer containing an impregnated paper provided on one or on both sides thereof, particularly near to the surface, as well as to a process for producing the same. The multilayer decorative plastic web or board according to the present invention can be suitably used for interior design, and in particular for ceilings, linings, wall panels, decorative films or synthetic veneers for furniture surfaces as well as for floor coverings.
