    Abstract: An electric motor, in particular a radiator fan motor of a motor vehicle, has a rotor which is mounted such that it can rotate in relation to a stator, a motor mount which has an electronics compartment for accommodating a converter electronics system, and an electronics compartment cover. The electronics compartment cover has a peripheral sealing groove into which a peripheral edge of the electronics compartment engages by way of a corresponding sealing web in order to reliably seal off the electronics compartment.
