  • Patent number: 10445948
Abstract: A method for access control in an access control system for people or vehicles comprising at least one access control device. In the method the at least one access control device, using a selective modulation of the frequency, spatial modulation and/or optional temporal modulation of light emitted by a specified number of light sources, transmits information that can be received and demodulated by a mobile electronic device having a camera. The information sent by the access control device contains a unique ID of the access control device, which is used to control the access control device in accordance with data transmitted to the access control system by a mobile electronic device which receives the information transmitted.

  • Patent number: 10430773
Abstract: A method for determining the state of access control devices and sales or payment machines of an access control system by detecting sound profiles emitted during operation by a component or component group by at least one microphone. Based upon the recorded sound profile, an acoustic identification signature is created in a server or a central computer, which identification signature is based on the frequency spectrum of the recorded sound profile and/or the temporal change thereof. The acoustic identification signature is compared with a reference identification signature(s) stored in the server and assigned to a component or a component group. In the event of the detecting an acoustic identification signature which exceeds a predetermined first threshold value, increased wear of the component or the component group is detected, while if the deviation exceeds a second threshold value, a defect of the component or the component group is defected.

  • Publication number: 20180189688
Abstract: A method is proposed for using the capacity of a facility at a ski area, a trade fair, an amusement park, or a stadium, within the scope of which the current position and the motion profile of all persons present in a region of the facility of the ski area, the trade fair, the amusement park, or the stadium is detected. A people map is provided on a server which corresponds to the spatial distribution of the persons, and by the spatial distribution of persons as a function of time, a motion profile of the persons is provided. Depending on the current position of the present persons, the motion profile of the present persons, and the current use of the facilities, all or individual persons obtain information generated by the server that can effect a redirection of the persons, so that use of a capacity of the facility can be optimized.

  • Patent number: 9907523
Abstract: An X-ray detector has a first detector module, a second detector module and manipulation means. The first detector module includes a first detection region arranged in a first detection plane, the second detector module includes a second detection region arranged in a second detection plane, which is adjacent to the first detection region. The manipulation means is configured to orient the first detection plane of the first detector module and the second detection plane of the second detector module to each other such that a first normal to surface of the first detection plane and a second normal to surface of the second detection plane intersect within a reference region.

  • Patent number: 9892574
Abstract: A method of monitoring access authorizations by an access monitoring system by a first method, the data carriers or the mobile electronic devices, on which a valid access authorization or an ID is assigned, are detected and the carriers/devices current positions are determined by trilateration or multilateration. A second imaging method is executed, parallel to the first method, and the current position of all persons presented in the entry area is detected by cameras. All persons, with and without valid access authorization, in the entry area are detected so that an ID map and a people map are created. The ID map corresponds to people who have valid access authorization and the people map corresponds everybody in the entry area. An overlay map is created by matching the ID map with the people map, to identify persons with valid access authorization or ID and the people without valid access authorization.

  • Publication number: 20170372544
Abstract: A method for controlling access in an access control system for people or vehicles comprising at least one access control device (11, 12), in which verification of an access authorization is carried out by evaluation of an ID, transmitted at regular intervals by a mobile electronic device (4, 4?) by a first standard. A mobile electronic device is identified as the mobile electronic device located closest to an access control device, if a connection is established by a second standard, which has a range, which covers an area around the access control device, in which only one person or one vehicle can be located or if the mobile electronic device receives a short-range signal, which is emitted or caused by the access control device and has a range, which covers an area around the access control device (11, 12), in which only one person or one vehicle can be located.

  • Patent number: 9715773
Abstract: A method for access control wherein verification of access authorization is effected by evaluating an ID sent at regular intervals from a mobile electronic device or a data carrier nearest an access control device (3, 4, 5, 6), via bluetooth low energy standard as part of a “broadcasting”, to which at least one access authorization is unequivocally assigned, which is received by BLE transceiver units (TRX-1, TRX-2, TRX-3, TRX-4) connected to a computer comprising a CPU and storage located within range of the mobile electronic device or the data carrier. Localization of the mobile electronic devices or the data carriers is carried out by evaluation of the RSSI, wherein the signal strength is measured, with which that signal of a mobile electronic device or a data carrier is received, which contains the ID of BLE transceiver units (TRX-1, TRX-2, TRX-3, TRX-4).

  • Patent number: 9716845
Abstract: A digital camera has a 2D image sensor designed as a CCD or CMOS sensor that can be used to measure distances based on a runtime measurement in synchronization with a pulsed infrared source. The measured distances are used to carry out a 3D reconstruction of a detected object. The digital camera does not have to have an infrared cut-off filter; however, it can have an infrared cut-off filter that can be dynamically activated in full or in part or deactivated in relation to pixels of the image sensor. In the latter event, individual areas of the image sensor, for which the infrared cut-off filter is deactivated, are used for the 3D reconstruction or for images in the infrared range. The remaining areas of the sensor are used for images of high color quality in the visible light spectrum. In the event that no infrared cut-off filter is present, individual areas of the image sensor are used for the 3D reconstruction or for images in the infrared range.

  • Publication number: 20150304809
Abstract: In a method for optimizing the locating accuracy of an RFID tag in an ultra-high frequency radio range in a system for locating RFID tags in a room comprising a plurality of reading devices, a first step of locating of the RFID tag is initially carried out using methods known from the prior art, whereby for this purpose the RFID tag is detected by at least one reading device. Thereafter cold spots, i.e., points with minimal amplitude, are generated or moved in a targeted fashion in the room using a predetermined variation of the phase position, the frequency and/or the transmission amplitude of the individual reading devices, whereby their location and volume as a function of the phase position, the frequency and the transmission amplitude of the individual reading devices is known by means of simulations and/or measurements.
