Patent number: 12587107Abstract: A power converter having a busbar device includes at least one ferrite core filter and at least two busbars, which are spaced from one another in an electrically insulated manner. The busbars may have different electric potentials, so that the busbars can carry an electric current appropriate for a bar cross-sectional area. The busbars are guided at least once through at least one feed-through opening of the ferrite core filter. The busbars are one piece in each case, and are reshaped by a bend formed in a passage area of the feed-through opening, and a passage cross-sectional area of the busbars in the passage area is at least the same size as the bar cross-sectional area, so that the busbars can carry the same electric current along the run of the busbars.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2023Date of Patent: March 24, 2026Assignee: MAGNA Powertrain GmbH & Co KGInventors: Birgit Lipp, Michael Wadsack, Thomas Schnabel

Publication number: 20250355881Abstract: Methods and systems for scaling out real-time computations are disclosed. A stream of event data associated with a plurality of users is received. A set of event-based aggregations to be computed for the plurality of users is determined based on the received stream of event data. User information for the plurality of users is stored in a state store. Computation of the determined set of event-based aggregations is dynamically scaled out using the stored user information. The set of event-based aggregations is computed for the plurality of users from the received stream of event data using the dynamically scaled out computation. The computed event-based aggregations for the plurality of users are stored in the state store.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2024Publication date: November 20, 2025Inventors: Andrius Vaskys, Jacob Bogerd, Joris Basiglio, Gurkanwal Singh Batra, Thomas Schnabel

Publication number: 20250355724Abstract: Methods and systems for using a cloud-managed state store are disclosed. A stream of data is received via a network. State information for a real-time computation workload is stored in a cloud-managed state store. The real-time computation workload is scaled out by utilizing the cloud-managed state store to retrieve state information. The stream of data is processed using a processing engine and utilizing the retrieved state information from the cloud-managed state store. Results of processing the stream of data are stored in the cloud-managed state store.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2024Publication date: November 20, 2025Inventors: Andrius Vaskys, Jacob Bogerd, Joris Basiglio, Gurkanwal Singh Batra, Thomas Schnabel

Publication number: 20250274053Abstract: A method for producing an inverter incldues installing at least one filter assembly and one assembly for intermediate circuit capacitorsin an inverter housing on busbars. The individual components of the filter assembly and the assembly of the intermediate circuit capacitors are arranged optimally with respect to one another. The filter assembly and the assembly for intermediate circuit capacitors are jointly fastened in the inverter housing or a partial housing within the inverter housing using a potting compound and are thermally connected.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2023Publication date: August 28, 2025Inventors: Birgit Lipp, Thomas Schnabel, Markus Reiterer, Alexander Dietrich

Patent number: 7329224Abstract: The invention relates to a therapy combination which consists of a locating unit and a therapy unit which includes a therapy head for focusing energy in a focus, said units being movable relative to one another. In order to determine the relative position, each of said two units is provided with a sub-system of a measuring device. The position of the focus can thus be determined relative to an image produced by the locating unit.Type: GrantFiled: July 4, 2003Date of Patent: February 12, 2008Assignee: Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.Inventors: Horst Hartwig Schwieker, Thomas Schnabel

Publication number: 20070070630Abstract: A forced air cooling unit for a light source formed of an array of high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs). A housing includes side walls with a pair of grooves on the inside of the walls. A heat sink includes side extensions which are slidably received in the grooves. The LED array is mounted in thermal contact with the heat sink so as to protrude from the top of the housing. The housing side walls include a second pair of inside grooves below the first pair. The second pair of grooves slidably receive a cooling fan base plate. An internal air flow chamber thus defined by the housing side walls, the base plate and the heat sink. A cooling fan, mounted at one end of the base plate, draws cooling air into internal chamber. The air flows by the heat sink, carrying with it heat generated by the LEDs, to the other opposite end of the base plate, where it exits the internal chamber through openings in the base plate.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 19, 2006Publication date: March 29, 2007Inventors: Ryan Kittredge, Scott Sabatino, Thomas Schnabel, John Thrailkill
