Abstract: In order to provide a method for producing a plastics component by means of which a plastics component having at least one fastening portion for fastening at least one fastening element is producible simply, it is proposed that the method should include producing a base body of the plastics component and at least one fastening portion of the base body in a single method step by means of a molding tool, wherein the fastening portion includes at least one receiving opening into which a fastening element is introducible in a direction of introduction, for the purpose of fixing it to the fastening portion, wherein the fastening portion includes at least one undercut portion which adjoins the receiving opening in the direction of introduction and to which the fastening element is fixable with positive engagement for the purpose of fixing it in opposition to the direction of introduction.
