Pairing the student and instructor devices requires the student and instructor devices to be within a limited range of one another, or in the same vehicle. Vehicle and camera information can be collected for the session log. A seat belt sensor system can indicate whether the student seatbelt is fastened. An unfastened student seatbelt can prevent pairing of the student and instructor devices.
