  • Publication number: 20250108385
Abstract: An installation is provided that is intended to separate two families of components of a mixture placed in a receptacle. The installation is provided with a screen and comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and a generator that generates, between the first and second electrodes, an agitating alternating electrical field. The alternating electrical field is capable of alternately projecting all or some of the components of the mixture that is present in the receptacle towards or against the first electrode and then towards or against the second electrode in order to generate mechanical impacts on the components that contribute to breaking down the mixture within the receptacle and in order to facilitate the passage of components belonging to the second family through the screen. The screen ensures components belonging to the first family are retained in the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20250018403
Abstract: An installation intended to separate the components of a mixture containing fibers (2) and granules (3) is provided. The installation comprises a tribocharger (4) for conferring an electrostatic charge upon the components (2, 3), and at least one pair of electrodes (5, 6) for generating a separating electric field that conveys the charged components, according to their polarity, up to collectors (10, 11). The tribocharger (4) has a containment grating (14) arranged so as to retain the components in the tribocharger (4) until the components (2, 3) have reached a sufficient charge, then to allow the components, once charged, through into the gap (7), from which point the components (2, 3) reach their collector (10, 11) under the effect of the separating electric field.

  • Publication number: 20250010336
Abstract: A separation method making it possible, from a mixture containing fibers and granules, to separate the fibers from the granules is provided. The method comprises a supply step during which the mixture is brought into a receptacle provided with a screen, a dissociation step which involves carrying out, simultaneously, an agitation sub-step in which mechanical mixing of the mixture contained in the receptacle is performed and a neutralization sub-step in which the mixture being mixed in the receptacle is exposed to bipolar charges in order to neutralize electrostatic charges of the fibers and the granules, followed by a screening step during which the mixture treated in accordance with the dissociation step is passed over the screen in order to retain in the receptacle a first product enriched in fibers while a second product enriched in granules is discharged through the screen.

  • Publication number: 20240165901
Abstract: The tooling is suitable for manufacturing a toroidal tire that has a crown, a first annular bead and a second annular bead, together with a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The, tool has a core which is provided with groove-type passages that are suitable for receiving reinforcing elements, referred to as “stays.” The stays are designed to be permanently incorporated into the structure of the tire and to each extend in the cavity of the tire, thereby connecting a crown anchor point situated in the crown of the tire to a lateral anchor point situated in one of the sidewalls or beads of the tire.

  • Publication number: 20200009814
Abstract: The curing bladder for a tire comprises a body made of a flexible material suited to being inserted in the drawn-in position inside a pneumatic tire in a curing mould and which is capable of being expanded so as to flatten the tire against the internal surface of the mould. The body is produced based on a film made of a thermoplastic polymer and has a cylindrical tube shape when the bladder is in the drawn-in position.

  • Patent number: 10239270
Abstract: A mold for a tire is disclosed herein. The mold includes first and second shells mold-able to lateral sidewalls of the tire, and a plurality of sectors that are distributed in the circumferential direction and are mold-able to the tread of said tire. The sectors are radially movable between an open position and a closed position of the mold. The mold also comprises at least one spacing interposed between each sector and each shell in order to keep said sector and the shells spaced apart in the radial direction in the closed position of the mold, such that the shells and the sectors are in contact in the radial direction only by way of the spacing. The spacing is also able to limit the heat transfer between the shells and the sectors in said closed position.

  • Patent number: 10124550
Abstract: A tire vulcanizing device includes a vulcanization mold and a central part. The vulcanizing mold includes molding parts that defining a curing chamber therebetween. Inside the curing chamber is arranged a heating and ventilation apparatus structured for use with a heat-transfer fluid. The central part is structured to collaborate with the vulcanization mold by providing support to a heat-transfer fluid inlet and establishing communication between the heat-transfer fluid inlet and the curing chamber. The central part includes heating elements that are configured to be brought into operation before the heating and ventilation apparatus is brought into operation to cure a tire using the heat-transfer fluid.
