  • Publication number: 20240077129
Abstract: A drive belt includes a foamed undercord layer having void spaces located throughout the foamed undercord layer. The void spaces extend from a backing layer of the undercord layer to an exterior surface of the backing layer, and may include some void spaces at the exterior surface that are open to the external environment. The foamed undercord layer may exhibit a 20% reduction in specific gravity as compared to an unfoamed version of the undercord layer. The manufacturing process for making the foamed undercord layer can include incorporating foaming agent in the undercord layer such that the undercord layer both foams and cures when heat and pressure are applied to the undercord layer. The foamed drive belt incorporating the foamed undercord layer may exhibit reduced bending stiffness and improved energy efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20240068546
Abstract: A self-aligning power transmission belt, which may be used in conjunction with a corresponding sprocket, and systems incorporating the self-aligning power transmission belt are described. The self-aligning belt includes a tooth configuration that can eliminate tracking error in belt applications. In some configurations, the self-aligning belt includes two or more rows of teeth, with the teeth in one row being offset from the teeth in a second row.

  • Publication number: 20070269841
Abstract: Methods and kits for measurement of concentration of FK778 in a biological sample by means of an immunoassay, preferably a competitive immunoassay. In one aspect, the method and kit involve the use of (a) an antibody to FK778 conjugated to a label, e.g., an acridinium label, (b) an antibody to FK778 not conjugated to a label, (c) a solid phase containing an antibody to a first hapten, e.g., a fluorescein hapten, and (d) a bihapten comprising a first hapten and FK778 or an analogue of FK778, e.g., a bihapten comprising a fluorescein hapten and a FK778 hapten. In another aspect, the method and kit involve the use of (a) antibody to FK778, (b) a bihapten comprising FK778 or an analogue of FK778 and a first hapten, e.g., a bihapten comprising the fluorescein hapten and the hapten of FK778 or an analogue of FK778, and (c) a pretreatment reagent.
