    Abstract: Use of transponders for the documentation of waste manipulation whereby packages are generated at the collection sites, a material designation is submitted to a databank for every package, a transponder is attached to every package, a transponder identification is read into the databank and the transponder identification is allocated to the material designation, the packages are transported in transport lots, whereby a reading of the transponder occurs during loading and the read data are entered into the databank, at the waste treatment location the transponder and its package are treated and read and the treated packages are registered in the databank.
