  • Patent number: 9371833
Abstract: A variable turbine geometry may have a blade bearing ring and guide blades, each rotatably mounted therein via one of a plurality of respective blade bearing pins. An adjusting ring for adjusting the rotary position of the guide blades may be arranged on a side of the blade bearing ring facing away from the guide blades. The cover disc may define through-openings aligned with the blade bearing pins of the guide blades. The blade bearing ring may define at least one channel configured to create a pressure equalization between the control space and the flow space.

  • Publication number: 20120237339
Abstract: A charging device adjusting ring for a variable turbine and/or compressor geometry is disclosed. The charging device may include at least one inwardly directed recess for receiving at least one blade lever heads of a blade lever, wherein each recess comprises at least two lateral flanks. Additionally, at least one of the at least two flanks has a curved shape, and wherein the at least two flanks have a predefined deviation from a parallel arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20110033282
Abstract: The invention relates to a charging device, such as an exhaust gas turbocharger for a motor vehicle, with a shaft carrying a compressor wheel, with a fixing device for fixing the compressor wheel on the shaft, with at least one component fixed on the shaft together with the compressor wheel by the fixing device. It can be achieved that heat expansion of the compressor wheel through the expansion coefficient (?3) of at least one component can be at least partially offset. Because of this it is possible to increase the initial clamping force with which the components are positioned or clamped on the shaft without the permissible surface pressure for the clamp components being exceeded.
