  • Patent number: 12235253
Abstract: A method for determining a water treatment plan for produced water includes receiving sample water analysis for the produced water, and receiving one or more key performance indicators (KPIs) that each indicate a selected treatment result for the produced water. In addition, the method includes providing the sample water analysis and the KPIs to a machine learning model and determining a water treatment plan for the produced water using the machine learning model, wherein the water treatment plan comprises one or more additives for the produced water that are to provide the produced water with the KPIs.

  • Publication number: 20220033101
Abstract: The technology relates to techniques for lightweight brackets for storm hardening of aircraft components. A bracket flange for protecting an electronics assembly from electrical storm activity can include a leg element coupled to and extending from a component of a vehicle and a first bar element extending from another end of the leg element on a plane substantially parallel to the component and over a part of an electronics assembly. The location of the bracket flange can be determined using a lightning attachment survey configured to indicate a part of the electronics assembly to which a lightning streamer attaches during an electrical surge. The location and size of the bracket flange may be configured to divert surge current away from the part of the electronics assembly to which the lightning streamer attaches in the lightning attachment survey.

  • Publication number: 20210242931
Abstract: Aspects of the technology relate to an environmental sensor system that uses different types of detector units as part of an onboard lightning detection and evaluation system for a high altitude platform (HAP) operating in the stratosphere. These sensor suites may be employed with balloons and other high altitude platforms during operation in the stratosphere. Onboard data processing and analysis may be done either in real time or on stored data sets. The processing system can use the gathered sensor information to mitigate issues related to lightning-related transients. The information can also be used in route planning and real-time navigation of HAPs when hazardous conditions are detected. It can also be employed in a back-end control system for long-term route planning and fleet management.
