  • Publication number: 20160009301
Abstract: Disclosed is a pit cover and method of installing the same. The pit cover includes a plate having a hole defining an area. A block having a threaded hole may be affixed to a bottom surface of the plate such that the threaded hole aligns with the area. A support is associated with the foundation and a groove is defined by one of the pit cover or the support. A protrusion is defined by the other one of the pit cover or the support. The groove narrows from a first width towards a second width. The first width is disposed relative to the second width such that insertion of the protrusion into the groove causes an end of the protrusion to pass the first width prior to passing the second width. The protrusion interacts with the groove to align the pit cover at a predetermined position relative to the foundation.

  • Publication number: 20140083681
Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention utilizes computer models to calculate predicted spectral estimates that may be encountered during a hydraulic fracturing operation. Seismic events generated by hydraulic fracturing are mapped and displayed upon a graphic user interface. Spectral attributes of selected seismic wave field data from the fracture operation are derived and compared to predicted spectral estimates that match one or more characteristics of the formation. The comparison may be utilized to generate a predicted hydrocarbon content for the fracture zone of the formation and to adjust or alter the hydraulic fracturing operation in order to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.

  • Publication number: 20120281424
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide a dual function illumination lamp in compliance with regulations for vehicular forward lighting. In one implementation, the illumination lamp includes a first reflector and a second reflector. The first reflector has a first reflecting region adapted to reflect light emitted from a first light emitting diode through an optics-free lens. The light reflected from the first reflecting region forms a first beam light pattern. The second reflector has a second reflecting region adapted to reflect light emitted from a second light emitting diode through the optics-free lens. The light reflected from the second reflecting region forms a second beam light pattern that is different from the first beam light pattern. In some implementations, the first beam light pattern is a low beam light pattern, and the second beam light pattern is a high beam light pattern.
