    Abstract: In a multi-compartment package (10) comprising a back sheet and a front sheet sealed together along the circumference (14-17) thereof and a sealing partition line (12, 13) separating adjacent compartments (11a, 11b; 11a, 11b, 11c), each compartment has external tear-initiation means (21, 22; 31, 32, 33), and the partition lines (12, 13) are non-breakable and the tear-initiation means (21, 22, 31, 32, 33) are provided at the sealed circumferential edges (14-17) such that the compartments (11a-11c) stay united even after being torn open.
